BRIEF INTRODUCTION:-
Haryana has been a state with various colleges and university opened by the government as well as some private players. The demand for quality education has risen for long time here. Haryana offers various opportunities in various career streams, but the most popular of these careers has been teaching as profession. The people’s emphasis has always been on education and therefore various Haryana’s state government is offering the Bachelors of Education (B.Ed) which is mandatory for teaching these days. Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, session 2014-2015 is offering this course. The other two state Universities that provide the course are Kurukshetra University and the other one is Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU). The course is with duration of one year. These Universities runs its counseling programme sometime in collaboration with each other in B.Ed programme. Candidates may apply online though MDU, B.Ed online enrollment programme.

Candidates can enroll online just by going to official website of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Kurukshetra University (KUK)or Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) and need to fill registration forms, fill details and other requiBlue necessities. After that, a number will be generated though which only that candidate can check and log in.
A confirmation mail will be sent on email ID and details will be posted to Registration Branch of candidates applied universities. The process will follow where Registration Branch of the University will go through verification of the eligibility of the candidates. After the approval and confirmation, the registration ID will be generated following that a challan of Rs 1000 needs to be paid for the counseling session.
Another step is to select college and for that, choices of different college are given to the student from, which student can select number of colleges. Colleges shall be allotted because of merit list (marks). By Online process, Candidate can get to know about the college where he has been enrolled. That online enrollment form helps students to attain admission in that particular college where they have enrolled by paying necessary fees.
Then the final step through which students can learn and improve them by attending classes where well-trained teachers are employed to train the student so that they can become good professional teachers and can make their dream come true by achieving their goals. Objectives:
After doing this course a candidate can get the jobs in Government as well as Private sectors. A directly enrolled student will be awarded with Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.) degree in successful completion of his eligibility: A candidate seeking admission for B.Ed. Course must have three years Bachelor’s Degree (with minimum 50% marks) from a recognized university. Duration: 1 Year Exam Schedule: June-July 2015(tentative)

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION IN B.ED COURSE
Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master's Degree of Kurukshetra University, Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak, CDLU, Sirsa or any other Qualification recognized as equivalent will be eligible for admission to the program. Shastri Degree 3-year (with or without English)/ Acharya Degree 2-year with 50% marks in aggregate from statutory university/ Institutions. Note:
(i) there shall be no rounding off the percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from 0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be round off to 50%.
(ii) 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
(iii) 45% marks for Blind /Physically Handicapped and visually/Hearing ImpaiBlue candidates.
(IV) In case a candidate has completed master’s Degree so the higher percentage of marks obtained in either of two will be taken into consideration while preparing the merit.
(v) Compartmental candidates will not be allowed admission in B.Ed. (Regular Course) in any Selection for Admission. Admission to B.Ed will be made strictly based on merit of marks obtained in qualifying examination. No extra weightage of any kind will be given. In case two or more candidates in the merit list have equal percentage of marks, one who is senior in age will be consideBlue for admission. If the age in such cases is also the same, the admission will be given to the candidate having consistently better academic record. The merit list of selected candidate’s group wise/category wise will be available at the enquiry counter of the Directorate and/or at website. If the reserved seats for any category remain vacant, the same will be filled up from the candidates of the same group in the waiting list. Candidates are advised to attach all the documents and testimonials along with their application form for determining their eligibility. The selected candidates will be requiBlue to produce their original documents at the time of admission within prescribed time for verification before they are allowed to deposit their dues. Admission will be refused if any documents submitted/produced by the candidates are found false/bogus or the information filled in the application form is found to be incorrect or the M.D. University, Rohtak, has not recognized the qualifying examination passed by him/her from the other university/board
About MDU (Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak)
An Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly has established Maharshi Dayanand University, from the earlier name as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. About KUK (Kurukshetra University)
The Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University and late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, laid its foundation stone. Located in the holy city of Kurukshetra, land of the historical battle of 'Mahabharata' and the great message of Bhagwad Gita, the campus is situated on the western bank of BrahmSarover (the holy tank) and extends over an area of over 400 acres. Starting with only the Department of Sanskrit, it has grown into a multi-faculty University as one of the premier centres for advanced study and research in the region.
About CDLU (Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa)
Established on 2nd April 2003, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa is named after Jan Nayak Chaudhary Devi Lal, The former Deputy Prime Minister Of India And The former Chief Minister Of Haryana. This University, set up by the government of Haryana under an act 9 of 2003 passed by the State Legislature, has sprawling campus of 213 acres 4 Kanal 12 Marlas at Barnala Road, Sirsa. The University is approved under section of 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC act 1956.The objective of this university is to facilitate, promote and excel in higher education.
