About M.I.P.S. Vocational Training Center
M.I.P.S. Vocational Training Center is a not-for-profit organization providing vocational training with placement assistance as well as employability skills training and career guidance to young people from disadvantaged communities in India.
It was established in October, 2012 and Run by Madan Educational Child And Women welfare Society (MECWWS), NGO for helping young people to develop new skills, by giving them access to relevant vocational training and connecting them with employers, we enable them to take control of their own careers and lives.
Vocational education in India aims to develop skilled manpower through diversified courses to the needs of especially the unorganized sector and provide justice to himself-employment skills in people through a large number of self-employment oriented courses. Industrial Training Institutes (ITIS) and polytechnics provide vocational education.
One of the weaknesses of the Indian education system is that it does not give due importance to vocational training. As a result, there is a discrepancy between the need for skilled workers and skilled workers available. Each year, we churn out millions of graduates who do not have the specific skills requiBlue by the market. If this trend continues, our economic growth would hurt the long term.
To remedy these training programs in India need to be promoted in a big way.
